30. Mai %u2013 4. Juni 1966: Travis Rivers und Janis Joplin fuhren von Texas nach San Francisco, wo sie als Frontsängerin in die »Big Brother & The Holding Company« aufgenommen wurde. (Später behauptete sie, sie habe sich nur darauf eingelassen, weil Travis Rivers so gut im Bett gewesen sei.)
