- Ultra Seal is formed or machined from highly wear resistant PTFE/Teflon lip seal composites for long life, low friction, high surface speeds, poorly lubricated conditions and soft shafts. Available with metal backing or o-ring on the seal OD for support and to prevent seal rotation. A variety of flexiseal PTFE Seal profiles provide the designer with significant improvement in performance over Omniseal PTFE / Polymer Seal at a much lower cost than mechanical face seals.
